Shade Analysis for Berlin’s Rooftop Solar Requirements
You are planning a new construction or roof renovation? Since January 1, 2023, the Berlin Solar Law requires all buildings with net roof areas over 50 m² to have a photovoltaic system that covers at least 30% of the net roof area. An exception can be requested by providing evidence of a net roof area <50 m² or a proof of a reduction of 25% or more due to shading.
